Col. Pritpal Ranhotra is a former Colonel of the Indian Army and has very vast experience in Career Counselling.
He was commissioned into Indian Army in 1978 and commanded his unit in 1999. Later he moved to “Defense Research and Development Organization” (DRDO). He served as “Head of Department” of a Planning Division of “Vehicles Research and Development Establishment” of “DRDO”, one of the largest R&D organizations and provided very effective leadership in shaping the future direction of R&D of that establishment. Later on he moved to DRDO headquarters and continued to provide his leadership in launching new R&D projects.
In 1992, he was selected by the Ministry of Defense in India to be the project leader of “Indo-Canadian Youth Exchange Program”. This program was jointly run by the “National Cadet Corps” of India,” one of the largest youth organizations in the world, and by the “Canada World Youth” of Canada, a premium Canadian youth organization. This program was designed to develop International understanding and cultural learning among the young participants.
He immigrated to Canada in 2006. Soon after, he worked for “YMCA of Greater Toronto” as director of employment services providing career counselling and employment assistance to Canadians seeking employment, particularly new comers to Canada.
Meanwhile he acquired two of the most coveted credentials, “Project Management Professional“(PMP) from the “Project Management Institute” of USA and the “Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant” (RCIC). He is a full member of ICCRC and CAPIC.
As an entrepreneur, he launched his own business in 2010. He was awarded with Entrepreneur award for 2012 by YMCA Business Centre, Markham.
Col. Pritpal Ranhotra is a thorough professional and has constant quest for knowledge. Having extensive experience in recruitment and career counselling in Canada combined with his knowledge of the industry as a “Project Management Professional” (PMP), he is well placed to provide effective leadership in the society where he lives. He is well qualified and experienced to lead the youth and unemployed in finding their rightful place in the Canadian job market. Col. Pritpal Ranhotra provides free career counselling sessions and conducts regular free information sessions for the benefit of the needy in the society.
